ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Fulton County police led a raid at Hoodmart on Old National Highway late Friday afternoon. They said the business was under investigation for dealing drugs and for illegal drugs being used on the premises.

Shawn Johnson is a mother who lives in the area and said she was glad to see the raid. "Crime is everywhere, but when it gets out into the open like this, it's time for your community to get together," said Johnson.

The business sells music, shirts and T-shirts. But, police said they received a lot of complaints about drugs.

"We took all those complaints to heart," said Det. Melissa Parker, Fulton Co. Police.

After a lengthy investigation, officers obtained search and arrest warrants.

They went in with swat teams and two armored vehicles. U.S. Marshals and Georgia State Patrol also helped Fulton County Police. Officers said they wanted to make sure nothing went wrong.

Detectives said they found multiple items and one was narcotics. Agencies regulating music and video piracy were also investigating.

Police arrested Michael Hobby, Steaddrick Shivers and Anthony Champion of drugs, weapons and bootleg video charges.
