A former Alpharetta police officer bonded out of jail Friday evening.
Craig Allen Garner turned himself in to authorities in Forsyth County Friday morning. He faces charges relating to the sale of firearms to a convicted felon.
Police say Garner sold the guns to Michael Cummings of Cumming, GA. He's been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of criminal solicitation.
"We have evidence that shows that Mr. Garner was well aware that Mr. Cummings was a convicted felon and still provided the firearms to him," said Maj. Rick Doyle from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators say the two men met through a law enforcement-based motorcycle club called the Blue Bloods.
