ATLANTA (CBS46) -

People with physical or developmental challenges and their families are getting a glimpse this weekend at how new technology can change their lives.

The Abilities Expo is happening through Sunday at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event showcases all the latest ability-enhancing products and services through demonstrations and workshops.

One product being showcased is called Lucy 4. It's a laser that someone with very limited hand function can wear on their head that allows them to control their computer with tiny movements of the head. Another product called BlueLites uses Blue Tooth technology to control lighting in someone's home or control a television or other electronics, all from the same hand-held device.

Visitors can also watch a live Paralympic fencing demonstration or watch a performance by the Walk and Roll Dance Team, featuring Chelsie Hill from the Sundance Channel show Push Girls and Ali Stroker from the TV show Glee.
