Oconee County deputies are expected to be at a cemetery investigating damage to gravesites Friday morning.
A teenager was arrested Thursday night according to Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry. The 16-year-old is accused of driving through the Farmington cemetery, damaging several headstones grave markers.
The extent of damages may not be known until daylight Friday according to a post on the Oconee County SO Facebook page.
The juvenile was charged with DUI, unlicensed to drive, underage possession of alcohol, criminal damage to property in the second degree and striking a fixed object. The incident apparently happened Thursday night.
No court date has been set for the teen.
