DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

DeKalb firefighters are looking into what caused a fire that sent a 10-year-old boy to the hospital.

The fire happened at a home in the 2800 block of Harrow Drive on Saturday around 5:45 p.m.

Firefighters said the child suffered from smoke inhalation, but he was conscious and alert when he was taken to the hospital.

Officials said the fire was contained to one room only, and the home has mostly smoke damage.
