Richmond Police confirm body found is homicide victim

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police have confirmed that a woman, who's body was found near N. Hopkins Road and Holly Spring Ave, was the victim of a homicide.

The discovery was made around 8:30 a.m. Richmond Police have identified the victim as a black female, between 25-35 years old, with a thin build, approximately 5'5", with a buzz style haircut.

She's described as having a tattoo reading "Sammy G" on her left forearm, and knuckle tattoos spelling out: "God's Gift."

Anyone with any information is asked to call Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
