Former teen idol David Cassidy was ordered to enter alcohol rehabilitation for three months Monday, after pleading no contest to a drunken driving charge in Los Angeles Monday.
The 63-year-old must also serve five years probation, pay fines and take part in a nine-month alcohol education program.
Cassidy had twice the legal blood-alcohol level when he was pulled over Los Angeles in January after making an illegal U-turn.
It was his second DUI arrest in six months and third since 2011.
Cassidy's manager says his drinking is the result of stress brought on by a legal dispute regarding profits from his 1970s show The Partridge Family.
