On Wednesday nights in the springtime, finding a parking spot in downtown Acworth is next to impossible, thanks to the popular crawfish boils at Henry's Louisiana Grill.
Visitors have been known to wait two hours to be part of the experience, said Chef Henry Chandler, a Louisiana native who opened the restaurant in 2000.
Chef Henry happily shares his not-so-secret sauce recipe with patrons, and he'll also teach them the proper way to eat a crawfish.
"Pinch the tail. Suck the head," he says with a smile.
He also holds his famous Crawfish Crawls, where patrons can place a bet to see which crawfish will cross the finish line first. Proceeds benefit the Georgia Transplant Foundation, an organization Chandler has supported since his liver transplant five years ago.
Chef Henry and his restaurant were featured Wednesday on Better Mornings Atlanta.
