ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A woman was given a traffic citation after the SUV she crashed caused a child to be ejected Friday.

Tamecka Moore, 31, was traveling north on I-85 in southwest Atlanta when she lost control of her Lincoln Navigator, according to Georgia State Patrol.

Police say the Navigator stuck the center median, ejecting a 2-year-old from the SUV. The child was transported to the hospital and was released Sunday.

Authorities say the 2-year-old was in a child safety seat, but the straps were loose fitting and the right side strap was not latched.

Moore was cited for driving too fast for conditions, child restraint violation and a tire violation, according to authorities.
