The defending NL East champion Atlanta Braves will host their home opener on Tuesday when the New York Mets come to Atlanta.

Here are some new things you can expect next week, and throughout the season at Turner Field.

Charging stations

This season, the Braves are offering five universal charging stations that are placed around Turner Field, just in case you need a charge for your phone.

Hyundai Lot

There is a pay parking lot at Turner Field just for Hyundai drivers. The lot is at the southeast corner of Hank Aaron Drive and Ralph D. Abernathy.

Mobile ticketing

You can buy your tickets using your smartphone, and get access to Turner Field with mobile tickets using the Braves FanPass or your iPhone's Passbook.

Click here for a tutorial from the Braves on how it works.

All you have to do to get in the game is show your ticket QR code, which is similar to a mobile airplane ticket.

You'll also be able to transfer tickets through your smartphone.

Season ticket holders

If you're a season ticket holder, you can get access to your tickets and parking vouchers by clicking here.

You can download your ticket or parking barcode or electronically transfer them to someone else. The barcode includes the 33 percent concession discount and 755 club access.

Hank Aaron patch and decal

This season the Braves will feature a 715 patch on the right sleeve of their uniforms, honoring Hank Aaron.

A decal will also be placed on the outfield wall where Hank hit number 715 at Fulton County stadium

Military appreciation uniforms

This season, the Braves will wear new military appreciation jerseys during special home games to honor our veterans.

The special jerseys will be worn on the following dates:

  • April 26 (vs Reds) - Georgia National Guard and Military Family Night
  • June 13 (vs Angles) - U.S. Army Anniversary
  • July 19 (vs Phillies) - U.S. Marines Celebration
  • Aug. 30 (vs Marlins) - U.S. Navy Celebration
