ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Georgians have a new way to register to vote. Secretary of State Brian Kemp was at the State Capitol Thursday promoting the new online voter registration system.

People can register to vote online if they have a state driver's license.

Kemp also helped promote the My Voter Page app. It includes information on the candidates and their races. Voters can also update registration information including change of address.

"We believe with the ease of this it almost helps us better keep our voter rolls up-to-date," said Kemp.

Officials also say the new online voter registration system is very secure and can help keep voters from being disenfranchised.
