Greyhound bus headed to Atlanta involved in fatal crash

A Greyhound bus in route to Atlanta was involved a fatal crash Friday evening in Hamilton County, FL.

According to the Florida State Patrol, a vehicle heading south on I-75 entered the northbound lanes and then collided with the bus and other vehicles.

A driver and a passenger in another vehicle were killed in the crash.

The bus involved in the crash originally left Orlando at 8:15 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Atlanta on Saturday.

A relief bus was sent from Jacksonville to pick up the passengers and continue on to Atlanta.

Police identified the wrong way driver as 91-year-old Ernest Lee Holmes, of High Springs, Florida.
