Police say they're searching for a man accused of prompting an police-involved shooting at a suburban Atlanta Waffle House.
DeKalb County police say a man walked into the restaurant early Sunday morning and shot at an off-duty officer who was wearing his full uniform. The officer returned fired and the suspect fled the scene.
County Police Chief Cedric Alexander says the suspect may have been shot and blood was recovered from a wall near the restaurant's entrance. Alexander says authorities are unsure of the extent of the man's injuries.
