Police are searching for suspects who stole copper from an Atlanta church, causing extensive damage.
Thieves broke a window at Victory Baptist Church on School Drive sometime on Tuesday.
Pastor Richard Johnson said he found a flooded hallway and insulation ripped out of the ceiling when he arrived for bible study Tuesday evening. A water pipe was broken and several air-conditioning units were damaged.
Johnson said the thieves got away with some copper, but did more damage than it's worth. He said the church has insurance, but it won't cover all of the damage.
