FAYETTEVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

Atlanta-based Home Depot has opened a new store, but you can't use it.

The home improvement retail giant has opened at the Pinewood Studios in Fayetteville. There was a grand opening event held Thursday.

The private store will be closed to the public only to be used by film, TV and video production crews.

"The question really for us is can we sell items everyday that we really don't carry everyday. So, that is a very different format for us," said J.T. Rieves, vice president of pro business for Home Depot U.S. "We're really excited to try this. Obviously, we've never done one in a building this size."

Many employees who will work at the Pinewood Studios location are grateful for the opportunity.

"That is probably one of the biggest excitements to know that you can turn around and never know who could possibly walk in through your door," said Sophia Ali, Home Depot sales supervisor. "There are a few names that if I look up and see them coming through the door I'm probably going to have to take a quick 15-minute break."
