Clarke County teacher faces drug charges after police find marijuana plants

A Clarke County teacher faces several drug charges after he was arrested Wednesday.

Joseph Weston Lepage, 28, was arrested after he showed up at his house while members of the Northeast Georgia Drug Task Force were executing a search warrant.

Investigators located several marijuana plants as well as equipment commonly used in marijuana grow operations.

Lepage was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule 1 drug (psilocybin).

Lepage lists his employment as with the Clarke County School District.
