Multiple agencies as well as Holyoke Police were part of an operation that landed five people facing multiple drug charges.
On Tuesday, Holyoke police narcotics unit, in conjunction with the FBI's Western Mass Gang Task Force, Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit and the Uniformed Division of the Holyoke Police Department executed a search warrant at a South Summer Street apartment as part of a drug investigation.
Police say they found cocaine, more than 500 bags of heroin, and ammunition. A large amount of cash was also seized as proceeds from the illegal sale of narcotics.
Joel Sanchez, Nick Forestier, Daryll Montalvo, Jose Villegas-Rodriguez and Marisol Vazquez all face a slew of charges.
They will be arraigned Friday morning in Holyoke District Court.
