Atlanta Hawks guard Jeff Teague was named Player of the Week in the NBA's eastern conference Monday.
Teague averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 assists, two rebounds and 1.8 steals during the week of April 7 through April 13, according to a news release from the Hawks.
This is the first time the guard has won Player of the Week in his entire career. He is the second Hawk player to win the award this season, after Paul Millsap won the honor back in January, and the 14th overall Hawk player to receive the honor.
In the same week, the Hawks also clinched a playoff spot for the seventh straight season.
