CBS46 viewers got a behind-the-scenes tour of Disney's The Lion King production Wednesday at Atlanta's Fox Theatre.
Kay Ragsdale, an original member of the company since The Lion King's theatrical debut in 2002, plays 15 different flutes during each performance. Her instruments range in size from the length of a toothbrush to five feet tall.
Stefan Monssen, also an original company member, is one of two visible percussionists positioned in boxes on each side of the stage. Monssen and fellow percussionist Reuven Weizberg play a variety of African percussion instruments throughout the performances.
Ragsdale and Monssen were featured Wednesday on Better Mornings Atlanta.
The Lion King is on stage at the Fox Theatre until April 27. Visit here for more information.
