ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Heartbleed Bug has left a lot of personal data open for hackers to access. It is a bug that went undetected for two years, putting usernames, passwords, and credit card numbers at risk.

Here is a list of major sites impacted by Heartbleed, which means you need to change your passwords to them now, if you have an account...

  • Social media: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr
  • Email: Gmail, Yahoo Mail, as well as Google and Yahoo!
  • E-commerce: Amazon web services used by site operators, Etsy, and GoDaddy
  • Entertainment: Flickr, Minecraft, Netflix, Youtube, and SoundCloud
  • Government: USAA
  • Others: Dropbox, Wikipedia, Wunderlist, and OKCupid

McAfee has released a free test, allowing you to tell whether or not other sites you use have been affected. All you have to do is copy and paste the URL or IP Address into the box and hit the scan button.
