Veronica Estrada, owner of Sugar Benders Cafe and Bakery
Handmade Easter cupcake topper
MARIETTA, GA (CBS46) -
CBS46 viewers got a sweet treat on Thursday as Veronica Estrada, owner of Sugar Benders Café and Bakery in East Cobb, demonstrated how she makes some of her most popular Easter treats.
Estrada said her Easter cupcakes and chocolate pyramids are popular items right now. The chocolate pyramid is filled with mousse and a sliver of chocolate brownie. The cupcakes are topped with handmade edible caricatures of bunnies and chicks.
Estrada, known as the "sugar artist," opened her bakery in 2012 in the Paper Mill Village Shopping Center off Paper Mill Road and Johnson Ferry Road. She specializes in one-of-a-kind cakes, but the café also offers a variety of pastries, breakfast items, breads, cookies and desserts. Breakfast and lunch is served Monday through Saturday and brunch on Sunday.
Estrada was featured on Better Mornings Atlanta Thursday.
