One man was caught and another is on the loose after an attempted home burglary Friday morning.

Atlanta police said two men kicked in the back door at a home on Lena Street.

The alarm went off at the residence alerting police. When the officer arrived, he saw a vehicle speed off.

The suspects abandoned the vehicle in an apartment complex on Joseph E. Boone and attempted to run.

After a brief foot chase, Deandre Tennyson, 20, was captured. The second suspect has not been captured.

Police determined the vehicle they were driving was stolen out of Atlanta.

Tennyson was charged with obstruction of officers, possession of 1 oz or less marijuana, burglary, theft by receiving stolen property, auto, and reckless driving. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail.
