Cobb County police are investigating a crash that killed a woman Sunday morning.
The crash happened near the 1000 block of Milford Church Road in Marietta.
According to investigators, a white 1992 Mercury Sable began to rapidly drive through the parking lot of Milford Baptist Church where it collided with a concrete wall.
Witnesses at the scene told police the driver, Katie O. Palmer, 68, or Marietta, was slumped over the wheel just prior to the collision.
Palmer was taken to Wellstar Cobb Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Cobb County Medical Examiner's officer will assist investigators in determining the cause of death.
