ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A Buckhead business is a victim of a smash and grab Tuesday morning. Thieves broke the front glass to get inside the Elif Jewelry store on Paces Ferry Place NW. Security alarms alerted police around 1 a.m.

Jewelry cases were smashed and items were taken, according to Atlanta Police. Police have not released information about the items stolen nor how many suspects were involved in the theft.

This is the second smash and grab at the jewelry store in less than six months. Two thieves targeted Elif Jewelers in November 2013 and stole at least $1 million in jewelry.

CBS46.com will have more information as it becomes available.
