Crews have cleared debris from the roadway following a wreck involving two tractor-trailers in Coweta County Wednesday morning. The wreckage caused traffic to back up for miles on I-85 southbound.
The wreck happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at mile marker 44 in Newnan. Georgia State Patrol said there were injuries but no fatalities.
The wreck shut down the southbound lanes of I-85 for roughly five hours. GSP reopened the interstate shortly before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
