BROOKHAVEN, GA (CBS46) -

Parents, muster up your last bit of energy - it's time to come up with some easy, yet creative, end-of-the-year teacher gifts that might just earn your kids enough brownie points to get them across the finish line.

Cyndi Sterne, owner of Hal's Kitchen, a corporate team-building venue in Brookhaven that specializes in cooking classes, was featured Thursday on Better Mornings Atlanta. Sterne showed viewers a clever way to bake individual cinnamon rolls inside short mason jars.

To decorate the lids, Sterne used a screw to attach a small hose knob she bought at a hardware store. She then spray-painted the assembled lid to add a splash of color.
