Atlanta police said they arrested a peeping Tom Thursday morning.
Pete Bagratis, 46, is charged with prowling. Police arrested him outside of the Deerfield Apartments on Ponce de Leon in Midtown Atlanta.
"(He) had himself pressed against a window, was grabbing onto himself and moaning loudly," said Sgt. Greg Lyon with Atlanta police. Lyon said he also appeared to be using a sex toy.
"It's kind of crazy," said Samantha Kessler, who lives at the apartments.
An alert neighbor, coming home around 3 a.m., first spotted Bagratis peering into windows. She managed to sneak inside the building, unnoticed, and called 911. When police responded, Bagratis was still continuing the behavior.
"That's what it's all about. Neighbors helping neighbors, no matter where you live," said Erica Biggers, who also is a resident at the apartment building.
Police arrested Bagratis. He is at the Fulton County Jail awaiting his first appearance hearing, scheduled for Friday morning.
