No more carrying reward cards, there's an app for that

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Local businesses may have a new tool to keep repeat customers and get new customers to visit their businesses.

A new app called 'veebo' will launch in two weeks and it could help businesses in both Tucson and Pima County.  It has been three years in the making and the newest version will soon be ready for launch in Tucson, Phoenix.

Veebo is basically a mobile rewards card.  Customers will no longer have to carry around rewards cards, coupons or punch cards, Veebo will take care of all of that. Now the customer just has to have their smart phone with them. The app allows businesses and customers to connect through an iPhone or Android device. To use the rewards, a Veebo user will simply call up the deal they want on their smart phone and show it to the merchant on the spot.

The app allows business owners to market directly to customers who are already using their existing services, by conducting surveys to see what exactly the customer will use and what they need.   Notifications on current deals and coupons will be texted straight to a customer's phone, so they can be used at any time.

Businesses also wanted to know how many times people are utilizing their coupons, which coupons have worked and which have not, and how many people have engaged in punch-card loyalty programs — all this information that can be accessed on Veebo.
