A Snellville teen ends up behind bars after allegedly trying to rob a gas station.
His weapon of choice? A golf club.
Police in Kennesaw say 19-year-old Cole Spencer Wall of Snellville was arrested Sunday. They say that morning, Wall went into the Shell station on Jiles Road in Kennesaw armed with a golf club.
The teen demanded the clerk hand over the money. Instead, the clerk, armed with a handgun, fired a warning shot and Wall ran from the store. The clerk also stopped Wall from getting into a vehicle the teen had stolen from Gwinnett County and driving off.
Wall ran into the woods. He was later found hiding in a storage building behind a home by a K-9 officer.
Police charged Wall with aggravated assault with the intent to commit robbery, aggravated assault, theft by receiving - stolen auto, possession of cocaine, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and criminal trespass.
Wall did suffer a minor dog bite on his arm. He was treated for it at Kennestone Hospital before being booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
