A DeKalb County judge sentenced a teen to 20 years for a brutal attack and robbery of an elderly Lithonia woman.
Quiantae Collins, who is now 18 years old, will be required to spend at least 15 years behind bars.
In September 2013, Collins knocked on the victim's door and asked if he could borrow detergent for his grandmother. When the woman opened the door, Collins choked her and knocked her to the floor. He then hit her and kicked her in the chest several times.
Collins made off with a check from the woman's checkbook and also stole her car.
