A SWAT situation has ended after officers made entry to a hotel room in Cobb County.
The specialized unit was called to a hotel in Kennesaw as police attempted to serve an arrest warrant.
While police attempted to serve a warrant at the hotel on north Cobb Parkway, they observed a gun prior to entering the room, pulled back and called SWAT, according to Kennesaw police.
Authorities say they are serving the warrant on a 19-year-old for shoplifting.
When the SWAT unit entered the room, the teen gave up. Officers also discovered three other men in the room.
Adjacent rooms were evacuated at the hotel. Those guests were allowed to return to their rooms.
