WHITE COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

We are working on a number of stories of school lockdowns.

White County High School in Cleveland, GA is on lockdown after a student threatened to kill herself.

Police said a girl brought a gun to school and locked herself in the restroom.

Negotiators eventually talked the girl out of the bathroom.

Officials said at no time were students in danger.

The girl was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

That school remains on lockdown.

In Clayton County, Mount Zion High School went on lockdown Monday morning after power went out on part of the campus.

Students started leaving the school without permission, so administration initiated a lockdown on campus.
