Women with thinning hair no longer have to use chemicals, hair extensions or wear heavy wigs to get a full head of hair. Some are trying a new volumizing system that's giving them back their confidence.
Salon Skanda in Buckhead is one of the first metro Atlanta salons to try Evolve, a semi-permanent hairpiece system. According to the company's website, the silicone base of each hairpiece is stretchable and breathable, allowing women to forget that they're wearing it.
The hairpieces are specifically engineered for women with up to 50 percent hair loss in the crown area, as well as for people with fine, thin or damaged hair.
The Evolve system was featured Tuesday on Better Mornings Atlanta.
