ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A new survey finds southern hospitality goes right out the window when drivers are sitting bumper to bumper on I-285.

Atlanta came in second in the 2014 In the Driver's Seat Road Rage Survey. This is up two spots from the survey in 2009.

The survey by AutoVantage found that Atlanta drivers are the most likely to admit bumping another driver because of perceived poor driving, most likely to see someone else speeding, most like to admit to tailgating and second most likely to see others eating or drinking while behind the wheel.

Houston took the top spot for the rudest drivers this year and the title of most courteous went to Portland - which also was tops in 2009.

The survey compared drivers in America's 25 largest cities.

The five least courteous are:

  1. Houston
  2. Atlanta
  3. Baltimore
  4. Washington, DC
  5. Boston

The five most courteous are:

  1. Portland, OR
  2. Pittsburgh
  3. St. Louis
  4. San Francisco
  5. Charlotte
