Two teens were shot after Atlanta police said they broke into a home. The teens then drove to a fire station for help.
The shooting happened Thursday morning in Southwest Atlanta on Imperial Circle.
"I heard movement upstairs, rattling and stuff," said Buck Money, who was house sitting at his girlfriend's place.
Money found two teens upstairs and shot them, one in the leg and one in the arm. "They started going down the stairs; they were bleeding," said Money.
The teens left the home with several others in an SUV and drove to Atlanta Fire Station #9 on Martin Luther King, about seven miles away.
Sidney Clark, who was working nearby, noticed them. "They were little kids, shot up real bad." Clark called an ambulance and got the teens water while they waited.
Reverend Krista Woods, the homeowner's aunt, said someone broke into her niece's home last week. She said since then, her niece had not left her home unsupervised. "You go to work to have things of your own and people just go in and invade your territory while you're going out and trying to make good for your family," said Woods.
Police did not immediately know if the two break-in's were related.
The two wounded teens were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
As of early Thursday evening, police had not made any arrests. They were questioning two other teens as well as Money.
Therrell High school, located nearby and the scene of a shooting two days earlier, was temporarily put on lockdown. Police did not believe Tuesday's shooting and the break-in were related.
