Two people were injured Thursday afternoon after a building partially collapsed in Sandy Springs.
According to a spokesperson from Sandy Springs fire, emergency crews responded to the partial collapse at 915 Crestline Parkway, which is the site of a hotel under construction.
A sub-contractor working on the project said a steel beam collapsed causing the concrete slabs to fall. He said the two workers were standing on top of the slabs and sustained injuries from their falls. He said the cause of the collapse is unknown, but is being investigated.
The two workers were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta with minor to moderate injuries, according to authorities.
