Detectives are trying to figure out who shot a man early Wednesday morning on a residential street in southwest Atlanta.
According to Capt. Paul Guerrucci, the homicide commander for the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded at about 3:14 a.m. to a report of gunfire on Orlando St. When officers arrived, they found a man in the street, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
The grandmother of the victim identified him as Darrell Coleman Hall. He was in his 30s, she said.
Authorities said they have no eyewitnesses.
"We do not believe he was here alone during the incident, so we are asking anybody that has information to please contact us, either directly or through Crimestoppers," Guerrucci said. The number for Crimestoppers is 404-577-TIPS.
