Marietta streets to close for filming of Oprah Winfrey's 'Selma'
ATLANTA (CBS46) -
Several streets in downtown Marietta will be closed during the final week of May to shoot scenes for Selma - a feature film being produced by Oprah Winfrey.
Selma is a drama about Dr. Martin Luther King's voting rights campaign in 1965. It stars David Oyelowo as Dr. King, rapper and actor Common as civil rights activist James Bevel, and Andre Holland as Andrew Young.
On Friday, parts of Anderson and Winters streets will be closed starting at 6 a.m.
Starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, sections of Atlanta, Anderson and Winters streets will be closed. They will reopen at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
