Shrine Circus returns to Marietta for 72nd year

MARIETTA, GA (CBS46) -

The Yaarab Shrine Circus is back for its 72nd year in Marietta, featuring carnival rides and new circus acts.

Known as the "world's largest Shrine Circus and Midway Carnival," the circus features more than 22 performances over 10 days. Acts include high-flying trapeze artists, acrobats, show horses, elephants, bears, daredevil acts and of course, the world-famous Shriner clowns.

The circus is in full swing at Jim Miller Park, located at 2245 Callaway Road, Marietta, GA, 30008. It runs through Monday, May 26.
