Driver in crash that killed an Atlanta firefighter indicted

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A grand jury in Louisiana has indicted the man allegedly behind the wheel in a crash that killed Atlanta firefighter Frank Guinn.

Howard Vidrine was charged with one count of negligent homicide.

Guinn and his brother-in-law were riding bicycles while training for a triathlon in New Orleans in April. According to authorities, Vidrine struck the two from behind, tossing them from their bikes and into the air.

Vidrine also faces one count of negligent injury related to the other rider.
