School is out and summer camps are in session around Atlanta. One special camp taking place all summer at Piedmont Park brings fun and science together all at once. The camp is billed as "EnviroVentures" for children age 5 to 10. This year, about 800 children are participating.
Piedmont Park Conservancy officials said the camp will teach young kids how to take care of our planet. Much of this summer's camp will be about sustainability, recycling and how to take care of Piedmont Park.
Camp counselors hope the kids then will go and teach their brothers and sisters and their parents about science.
