Fresh summer produce inspires Atlanta chef

The calendar might say it's still spring, but Georgia's fresh produce is inspiring Atlanta chefs to create a taste of summer for their guests.

Chef Philippe Haddad of F&B Atlanta says he's crafting his menu around produce such as watermelon, heirloom tomatoes, jumbo asparagus, mushrooms and Georgia peaches, which are all in season right now.

Haddad suggests making light dishes at home during the summer, cooking vegetables with olive or walnut oil and adding citrus shavings to give it zest.

Haddad was featured Friday on Better Mornings Atlanta.
