Students marched to protest racial tension spurred by Trayvon Martin case
ATLANTA (CBS46) -
An interactive map created by the University of Virginia uses 2010 census data to paint a picture of the racial breakdown in the metro Atlanta area.
Green dots used to signify the African-American population speckle the city south of Highway 78 and east of I-75.
Orange dots representing the metro area's Hispanic population run north along I-85 into Gwinnett County, and red dots - for Asian populations - scatter around the city's midtown and over by Stone Mountain. Blue dots - meant for the white populous - color the city west of I-75 and north of I-20 then expand to the northern suburbs.
