The City of Savannah's Department of Cultural Affairs announced that it is seeking artists to exhibit at the Cultural Arts Gallery in 2015.
Savannah's department of Cultural Affairs has a 1,700 square-foot galley used for the promotion and education of visual arts through contemporary art, design, and fine crafts by local and regional artists.
Exhibiting at the Cultural Arts Gallery provides artists with an opportunity for public reception, promotion, exhibition experience, and exposure to Savannah's visual art community.
Artists will be required to develop and present a learning opportunity for those interested in art in Savannah through a workshop, lecture, or demonstration.
All mediums are welcome and solo or group exhibition is optional.
The deadline for submissions is September 5th, 2014 at 4 p.m.
In order to be considered the following must be submitted:
previous exhibition record
10 - 12 digital images of work to be considered
self addressed and stamped envelope if the proposal needs to be returned
