It's billed as the ideal location for a day of family fun. The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center is tucked away off Buford Highway near Suwannee. It's a 700-acre facility built to enlighten, educate and entertain. And inside, for the next few months, you will find a roller coaster and amusement park science display.
This hands-on attraction takes science concepts and brings them down to a kid's level and lets them understand that science is everywhere they look. There is a roller coaster design station, an angular momentum station, a KinX creation station and a small-scale mock up of an amusement park.
The GEHC says this exhibit will be here until Labor Day, is good fun for the kids and keeps their minds innovative and imaginative during the long summer holiday.
For more information on the exhibit, the center's hours and other programs they offer, be sure and check out the GEHC web site.
