Library in Albany may not re-open for a few years.
Committee recommended to Dougherty County Commissioners Monday to deny the $125,000
to re-open the branch.
Finance Committee Chairman Lamar Hudgins suggested that
the commission keep the building vacant for three years for future use as a
library, saying it's better to wait until more money is available. A final
decision will be made Monday, June 16, 2014.
