ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
You can enjoy another fireworks show at the Albany Exchange Club Fairgrounds in a few weeks.
That's where the city's July 4th celebration will take place for a second straight year. It will include activities for kids, live music, and plenty of food. The fireworks crew is made up of city employees who organizers say put on a show you don't want to miss.
"They just do a magnificent job," said Kristin Caso, Special Events and Marketing Coordinator. "I mean our fireworks are really spectacular. If you have never seen them before then you need to come out to the Exchange Club fairgrounds on the fourth. "
No backpacks, coolers, or weapons are allowed. Admission is $2 per person or $5 per car. Gates open at 3 o'clock on Friday July 4th and the fireworks start at 9:15.
