U.S. News and World Report has praised Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country.
In the 2014-15 edition of Best Children's Hospitals, the magazine ranked hospitals for excellence in patient outcomes, program structure and national reputation in 10 pediatric specialty areas. Children's cardiac program ranked fourth. It ranked within the top 20 in eight other specialties: cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonary and urology.
The results will be published in the U.S. News Best Hospitals 2015 guidebook, which will be available in August. U.S. News surveyed 179 hospitals to compile its results.
