ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Alejandro Pitts, 18, negotiated a plea deal with Fulton County prosecutors and entered a guilty plea for his role in the murder of Jerrick Jackson, 47. Jerrick Jackson is the youngest brother of Atlanta Pastor Wiley Jackson.

Pitts and five others are accused of killing Jerrick Jackson on May 7, 2013, inside his home on Lowe Street.

According to Atlanta police, Pitts and fellow gang members: Geno Lewis, 20, Felton Lovejoy, 19, Demetrius Morgan and Montravious Bradley, both 18, rushed Jerrick Jackson and his fiancee as they exited their vehicle.

The armed men ordered the couple inside their home. When Jerrick Jackson attempted to stop the assailants from going upstairs, where his fiancee's daughter was, he was shot several times.

The suspects fled the scene, taking ATM and credit cards as well as blank checks from both victims.

The stolen cards and checks from the armed robbery would later become important in identifying the indicted defendants.
