MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC) - A Memphis family is recovering after two men barged into their home and pointed guns at everyone inside, including a 6-month-old boy.

Rodney Robinson Jr., 22, and Tedarrius Thomas, 22, are locked up in the Shelby County Jail on $1 million bond apiece.

According to an incident report, a woman who had just finished pumping gas at the corner of Winchester and Hickory Hill Road was followed home by dark colored Nissan Maxima. When she arrived at her apartment, two men got out, forced her inside at gunpoint, and then pointed guns at several others inside too.

"I just break down and cry because it happened," said the woman, who wished to remain unidentified. "It could've gone the other way. Everybody could've got shot. Everybody could've been dead."

Police say the suspects demanded money while pointing a gun at the head of the 6-month-old, the woman's nephew. The two men eventually left, taking only $20 in cash, according to police.

"I know they wanted her car because she had rims on her car," said the woman. "Only thing they kept asking for was gimme the keys, gimme the keys, gimme the keys to the car. Gimme the keys to the car."

According to an affidavit of complaint, Robinson and Thomas went back to the gas station and within 90 minutes robbed another man of his cell phone and wallet.

Investigators and the family says Robinson and Thomas are strangers who chose their victims at random.

Family members say there was a third person involved, a getaway driver, but no one else has been arrested. Robinson and Thomas are due in court next week.
